So sad to hear of the passing on one of Clare's finest, both as a player and Administrator's. I had the pleasure of witnissing Kitty fighting for the Clare cause at many Munster Council meetings and many National Congresses. An absolute lady and full of fun. Condolences to Kitty's husband Jim, her daughter Maura, sons Ciaran & Padraig, Kitty's extended family, friend's and Clare Camogie Community. May Kitty Rest in Peace.

My sincere condolences to Jim, Ciaran, Maura, Padraic & all the Fahy family. Kitty was a great lady. We had many a debate over the years. I remember well all the visits to Hagfield, especially the Christmas ones. With a roaring fire & a strong hot whiskey inside her she would sometimes nod off in the armchair. This was my cue to sneak Jim off to town for a pint of the black stuff. It took me a while to realise that Kitty slept with one eye open!

Well do I remember when we were younger and her chasing me around the fields after a game of hurling, you had to be quick.
I also remember towing the goal posts behind the car with me hanging on to them out the window to a game that Maura was playing in.
Yes, Kitty was an achiever, with her total commitment to her family, her chosen profession, camogie, golf as only she could do it, and she did it.
Although Kitty has gone to God’s Garden, while we live, she will live in our hearts and memories.

She was passionate about Clare Camogie and worked so hard as a trainer and administrator to develop the game in Clare. For sure, “Ní bheidh a leithead aris ann! “
