My condolences to all the O’Leary’s.
It’s hard not to think of Currans Church without seeing your mom, always serving and smiling. Her deep faith and love for her family showed in her warm and lovely smile.
She must have been so very busy in life but yet she knew what truly mattered:- the Church Christ left us, His real presence in the Holy Eucharist, and love of family and others.
It can feel like we lost a good one in Currans last week, but really we gained a Saint.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved Aunt Kitty. We extend our condolences to the O'Leary family and her extended family. She was the last of her siblings who offered us a window to a generation that is now passed.

Our mother would speak lovingly of the farm that she, Kitty, and her other sisters grew up on. Even the mundane things seemed mystical. She would pore over the letters she and Kitty exchanged and was all aglow after every long-distance phone call, eagerly catching us up on all the latest goings on in Ireland.

We were fortunate to be the beneficiaries of such a legacy of love and loyalty.

We are very sad to hear of the passing of dear Kitty. I have memories of her encouragement when I was struggling to first go to school and she convinced me it wouldn’t be as bad as I imagined. It was always a comforting site to see my familiar childhood neighbour and friend coming along on her bicycle everytime I and the girls, Tracey or Caroline came home to visit.
We hope your family are able to cherish the wonderful memories you have while also mourning your loss.
We will all be watching the service and offering our prayers for Kitty and you all from Australia.
