So sad to hear of the passing of Lana. She was one of the first people I met when I came to Ireland almost 60 years ago. She will be sadly missed by all her painting friends.

Sincere condolences to Bob, Fred, David, Steven and Rachel on the passing of your wife and mum Lana. From anyone I speak to locally, she was a very special lady. I believe my mother (Kitty) played cards with Lana and my mum gave me the most darling, two oil paintings Lana painted of Robs Wall and Malahide estuary, which I treasure. I also have some pottery from Kilkenny Design that Lana and Bob gave me when I married in 1991 - still very much used and loved. 💜

Dear Bob, Fred, David, Steve and Rachel, my sincere condolences on the sad passing of Lana. From my childhood on Wendell Avenue, I have very fond memories of Lana (and Bob), not least of Lana trying to get us all, somehow, into the back of Bob's VW estate in time to get to school at Chanel.

May Lana rest in peace and may you, as her family, be greatly comforted not only by your happy memories of her but by the knowledge of the esteem in which she was held by so many of us.

To Bob Fred David Rachel and Steven and extended family - So very sorry to hear that Lana has passed - as my sister Avril has said we have fond memories from our childhood in Dewberry and Wendell. I will particularly remember the ladies meeting for coffee on “the patch’’ . And the many holidays our Mums went on together when their families had flown the nest. So sorry I am unable to attend tomorrow- sending you all sincere condolences and strength for the weeks ahead.
