.just heard of the sad passing of Larry, RIP, work with him and he was always a pleasure to meet, deepest sympathy to his family.

Just heard the sad news of Larry’s passing. I’m a former Pearse Street colleague. Larry’s first order of the day was a round of tea and toast for the station crew. Fond memories. Though I never met his family I knew them all, such was the pride Larry had when speaking of them. Ar dheis dé go raibh a hanam.

I remember Larry very fondly as a teenager in St Finian's. Occasional brief 'hellos' over the intervening five decades confirmed that the very pleasant boy had turned into a very pleasant man. May he rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to Ann and family on Larry's sad passing. We attended Finians college together in the 60's and 70's and he was always a gentleman. I ran into him when he was stationed in Dublin and those few brief meetings reinforced that view. May he rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Larry. May he rest in peace. I recall when Larry arrived to Crumlin station for the start of his career in the Gardai. It was a pleasure to have served with him Unit C . A true and honourable gentleman at all time.

I am absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of Larry. He was & will always be remembered as a true gentleman. I only got to know Larry over the last few years but when we shared car journeys, we were like two old friends catching up. He was never short of a story & was always there to offer his advice. A genuine good listener. He spoke so highly of Ann & it was very evident that the girls were the apple of his eyes, topped off with the arrival of Sadie. Sincere condolences to you all. May he rest in peace.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Larry’s passing. Larry would call by the office for 5 minutes and we’d still be having the chats half an hour later. He was always so positive, even his illness wouldn’t get him down. It was very clear to see how much he adored his family, he would light up when talking about Sadie.
