Larry Williamson was a member of St Mary’s ministry of music since 1968.
He served in the male voice choir in the early years, then when an SATB choir evolved he sang as a bass voice.
Larry was one of a number of cantors, which led and encouraged congregations to sing in praise of the Lord, throughout his ministry.
He was appointed Bass line leader in 1994, and helped and encouraged all new and existing members with the learning of music, and much more.
He arrived before everyone, and left when everyone was gone, helping always with the set up of things, and the conclusion of things.
Above all else, Larry’s perpetual positive attitude and outlook spread right throughout and touched everyone who was privileged to journey with him.
No matter what, and through challenging times, he always said “ I sing only, for theMan above”
