I am so sorry to hear of Laura’s passing. We were in TY together and I have memories of her being the sweetest and gentlest soul. When I heard she had become a primary school teacher, I always thought how lucky her pupils were to have such a kind and caring teacher. Laura was a wonderful babysitter to our daughter Kate and we have very special memories of Laura playing with all the children in Beechcroft. Sincere condolences to Adam and the Carrick family on the heartbreaking loss of Laura. We were lucky to have known her during our time in Beechcroft, and I can still vividly remember her out on the green, organising games and keeping an eye on all the children. She had such a natural warmth and kindness; and even then it was clear she was meant to be a teacher. It’s no surprise she grew into such a caring, respected, and much-loved young woman.

Im am so shocked by this news it only feels like yesterday when she was talking about harry potter and always wearing a different scarf in class everyday.
