Dear Marie and family,

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Larry has been one of my family's best loved friends for so many years. He was always great for the chats and always looked out for us and the newer generation of grandkids. We got to know him through playing with Peter in the park back in the 90s, but it really was Larry who we befriended. He was always so willing to spend time with us and everyone who got to know him was privileged. You could talk about anything with him.

My nieces and nephews got to know him, too, and would stop to say hello and tell him their little adventures. He was a fixture in our lives and will be missed.

Larry was a true gentleman. He welcomed us warmly to Drumcondra, when we moved in next door.
Many a great chat we had over the fence, always with warmth, kind words and a wicked laugh.

Larry will be sorely missed. He was a generous, kind and very funny man who was always willing to help, chat and joke with anyone. After only a few moments, he would make you feel like you had known each other for years. His stories and one-liners will never be forgotten.

Larry was a gentleman who always.had tine to stop on his bike and chat to all of his neighbours. He often chatted about the weather and the most recent happenings on the road never forgetring to ask how everyone was.
