Lar was held in deep respect by my mother, his sister Betty, and my recently deceased father, Larry Burke. Daddy and Lar built a lifelong friendship and shared many lively conversations down through the years about their shared interests, particularly sport and turf! Thanks to his conscientious approach, Lar's workmanship lives on in our family home in Milltown, a tricky back boiler and a flawless tiling job are amongst his impressive legacies. Lar was a good person, and always warm and helpful.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Josie, Laurence and Sinéad, and to Richard and Veronica, and all of Lar's beloved grandchildren.

May God reunite Lar and Daddy in the joy of their now eternal friendship.
