Lar was a lovely man, a sweet, gentle soul. His house and garden lit up our lives every Christmas. We will all remember him with a smile. May he rest in eternal peace. I will pray for Lar every time I visit my parent's and grandmother's grave. They lie beside one another in St Mary's graveyard. Thinking of Josie, Fiona, Diarmuid and their families. Love is eternal.

I am so sorry to hear of Lar's passing. I have many fond memories of Lar's kindness in my time at primary school, and am forever grateful for the joy that the lights on the hill have brought over the years. Thinking of you all at this time. Niamh x

Our deepest sympathies for the loss of dear Lar. Always a gentleman. We have a lovely memory of Lar singing, encouraged by family, in the early hours of a morning at Fiona and Eddies. It was a perfect end to a celebration- there was silence - only Lars voice ringing out in the kitchen. Memories are beautiful legacies and I hope the lovely memories of Lar are of comfort to family and friends at this time and beyond.
