Myra,Kevin,Gary and all the Brennan and Bell families,so sorry to hear about Larry leaving us so suddenly. Such a nice man, always had a friendly word any time we met and always willing to lend a helping hand over the many years I knew him as a neighbour in Farrenboley. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to say one last hello to him on the morning of his passing. May he rest in peace.
Larry and Bella were a fixture at the dog park. He had a smile and chat for everybody and was the social glue that got everyone out of their own little world and chatting. The dogs loved his treats. So sorry to hear he’s gone. His bench definitely needs a plaque in his memory.
Wonderful how often the word "gentleman " appears in these condolences - a perfect description. He was the life and soul of the dog shed and is sadly missed.

So sorry Myra, Kevin and families to hear of Larry's passing. We all had many chats had over the gate, by the bench in the park or lately with Larry on his scooter. Was so sorry to hear of Larrys death, have very good memories of Larry at cym matches, had many a good laugh going back all those years, the funny stories he related to me when i was driving him home. I had not seen Larry for some time, covid got in the way of our normal life. I had a missed call from Larry a few months ago, i rang him back that day & several times afterwards, i never did get to talk to larry again which saddens me greatly, now that he has passed away. A thorough gentleman. My condolences to all of Larrys family, larrys memories will live with me for ever.

Deepest sympathy to Myra ,Garry,Gracie,Ellie and Kevin on the death of Larry, may he rest in peace
To Myra and Kevin , (his real family) I knew Larry from his other family - football .

I and many many others spent Saturdays and Sundays kicking balls, arguing with referees and all that . Larry kept us going , each receiving the right word in the ear , the extra special warmup lotions & potions , the electrical rehab , whatever was needed …

Always with a smile , he was well known and loved across many pitches and club.

A great character . No doubt he’s involved with some club or other up above . RIP
Very saddened by the news of Larry’s passing - he really was a true gentleman and one of the friendliest souls I’ve ever know. He was a great friend to my dad back in their CYM days. He will be greatly missed
Larry was a true blue Dub and the most engaging human being. A genuine people person, always willing to chat, dig into his memory bank with great wit and knowledge, leaving those he encountered enriched. Dartry park was his playground, both for himself and his beloved dog Bella. His throne (bench) where he held court every day is now empty but his spirit lives on. Mondays were a breath of fresh air when different views were expressed about all the sports outcomes over the weekend.
Sincere condolances to Myra, Ellie, Grace and the extended Brennan family. Rest in peace Larry and enjoy the daily walks in heaven.

We are saddened to hear of Larry’s passing. Larry made us feel so welcome to the cottages when we moved in. We enjoyed our chats with him on his jaunts on the scooter, he taught us the history of this lovely neighbourhood and our son was always very excited to see him in case he had another biscuit from his pocket for him! We will always think of him on little Max’s birthday as they shared the special day. Our thoughts are with all of Larry’s friends and family at this sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
Condolences to all of Larry's family. He was such a wonderful man, always with a smile and cheerful chats. He will be missed by everyone. R.I.P. Larry
Larry (our "Chairman") was a lovable character. He was a fixture for so many years in the Park. And was the reason we set up the Dog Shed WhatsApp group. A great sense of humour and we all looked forward to seeing him on his bench holding forth. He was so missed in very recent times. The Park wasn't the same without him. Goes without saying he will be missed by many more than just our little group.

“Don't think of him as gone away,
His journey’s just begun,
Life holds so many facets,
Of which this earth is one.
Just think of him as living,
In the hearts of those he touched,
For noting loved is ever lost
And Larry was loved so very much.’’
