I feel privledged to have crossed paths with Larry. He was a very hard worker, a man of integrity, trustworthy, kind, oblieging and with such a positive can do mindset. He contributed so much to our community and the place just will not be the same without him.

It was so lovely to hear Laurence reflect back on Larry's involvement with the satelite TV mass on Carrig Hill during the funeral mass. I laughed as I remembered how transformational and innovative this was. Having grown up with just 2 stations, RTE 1 and RTE 2, this was life changing, exposing a generation of children and teenagers in Calverstown and surrounding areas to a more diverse range of TV programmes. 'Neighbours' a soap set as far away as Australia was an example of this.

I have lovely memories of his Birthday party to mark his 80th year in Calverstown during covid. The crowds who showed up to celebrate and sing songs in Lee Drive to honour and celebrate with him is a testament to the wonderful man he was.

Larry we will miss you so much.

Sending love and hugs to his wonderful family. You gave him a very special send off. He loved you all deeply. Any conversation I ever had with him always included the most recent news and achievements of his children and grandchildren. He was so proud of you all.
