Anne just told me the news that you went back home. She misses you so much though I'm sure you can hear her chatting to you :) I will miss you when I pass on my walks down to the Estuary. A beautiful, gentle giant of a man with a heart of gold 💛

Lar, today, Rita and Arno visited me, it was truly lovely to see both of them. We sat and talked over precious times both spent in Perth, and also in our home here. Sadly you were not present to join in on our memories, but we felt your presence and knew you were close by.

Fly high Granddad you'll forever be missed, one of our favourite memories was when we met you and Anne at miss mauds we had never seen so much food. Lol RIP we love you ❤️

I first met Larry late last year when driving him for chemotherapy. He told me he had been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, but he would not be brought down by it. During our later trips I discovered a very friendly, warm-hearted and kind man. He had a great sense of humour, which meant he saw the funny side of everything.
I grew very fond of him and feel I have lost a very close friend.

Lar, you were the first love of my life, we shared 21 years of many highs n lows - 4 beautiful children,and 9 grandchildren. May you rest in please in the company of Shannon (our baby girl ) and your beloved mammy.

Gone but not forgotten. Your memory carries on through your children and grandchildren. Rest easy, granddad.
