He was a cherished member of the Pastel Society of Ireland, and his hard work, wit and good humour were valued by all of us who knew him. Larry always made himself available to help hang, take down exhibitions, and also volunteer to transport members work to and fro. I will miss him personally too, for his mischievous sense of fun and his great stories shared over a coffee or too. Rest in peace Larry, you will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Dympna and all the family on Larry's passing, to say I am truly shocked is an understatement. I knew Larry from m meeting him in the park in Dunboyne and we used to stop and have long chats together, he had amazing stories to tell. After his surgery he would recount the stretching exercises he would have to do every morning and his joy of being able to get out and walk to the park - I will miss his presence dreadfully. Another Angel walks the streets of heaven.

Recently chatted with Larry in Ardee,finishing lunch. We remembered street leagues,and particulary performances of plays fully rehearsed and performed in the garage down behind the shop circa 50 /60s.
Magic also similar football 60s70 lovely memories . Real good chat he recounted he was doing well to be here. I am sad about his passing but cherish all my positve encounters and memories with Larry over our 70 + years.
