Sorry to hear of Laurence's death which came as a complete surprise. His boat was next to mine in the Coal Harbour for winter storage. Found him to be a kind, considerate and helpful gentleman. Condolences to family and friends.

To get this news of Laurence's untimely passing was truly shocking for all of us. Personally I enjoyed my many meet ups in his apartment over the last number of years where he made a great coffee for me each and every time and many a story was told. I know I speak for all of the residents & owners of The Crofton also when I say that he was an absolutely gentleman to deal with and never said no to anyone who needed any help.

He helped me out with so many things at the Crofton, he was an absolute gentleman and will be sorely missed - he was the life and soul of that building, always a pleasure to bump into him.
