Sincere condolences to Tristan and the Swan family on the loss of their dear husband, father and grandfather. I met Laurence in 2017 when working with him on a commemorative project in Dundalk Grammar School. He was very nice to work with and an absolute gentleman of the “old school”.
He had a huge devotion and loyalty to Dundalk Grammar School and was instrumental in facilitating many improvements within the school, he will be remembered fondly in that establishment.
I was very sad to hear of his death.
May his soul enjoy eternal rest.

Dear Anna, Tristan, Alicia and your families. What sad news. A long history between our families from Bay’s era through to younger generations. I will not forget Laurence’s capacity to laugh. He will no doubt leave a huge hole in the fabric of your lives, but his legacy will live on in his DGS work, and in his grandchildren who were lucky to grow up all together with their paterfamilias in his wonderful garden.
