I extend Lenny and my condolences to the Roche Family. Brenda is a dear friend of mine. Whom I love. When she mentioned me about Laurence passing. Saddened my heart. Brenda is so proud of her family. May God give you the strength you need to deal with the loss. With deepest sympathy.

Sincere sympathy to all the Roche family on the passing of their dear brother Laurance. I feel so sad for you all. He was a gentleman.

While I wish I got to spend more time with my Dad 18 years gave me so many beautiful memories that’ll never be forgotten. Dad was and will forever be an incredible person in every regard. I had so much opened up to me because of him. From food, fashion and beautiful music Dad always had something new for me. He was absolutely always there for me and he will be in my heart forever.

We are so comforted by the outpouring kindness that we’ve received over the past few days. Dad had such a huge appreciation for quality, whether it be a bottle of wine, a piece of music, a conversation, or the ingredients for a simple meal. He also understood the privilege of being able to have his life so enriched by these things. In lieu of flowers we would love to honour Dad through a donation to one of the charities that we feel represent his values and humanity. We are so grateful for the beautiful flowers we’ve received to date, but we have run out of vases (and space). My deepest sympathy to all the Roche family on the sudden and untimely passing of Laurence.
Unfortunately I did not get to meet Laurence but was looking forward to doing so as his niece Anne Marie and sister Cathy spoke so highly of him.
For his niece to have spoken so lovingly of an uncle she had only met a handful of times is truly a testament to the person he was.
It saddens me that I will never get to meet someone Anne Marie and Cathy held in such high esteem.

Am very saddened by Laurence's sudden passing. Sincere condolences to all his loved ones, especially his wife Jane and children, Gertie, Kitty, Billy, Tommy and his sisters Cathy Joan, Elizabeth, Bernadette, Brenda and Coleen.
Laurence and I had many happy days growing up in School Avenue. When we were young, we walked countless miles through the countryside, talking about everything under the Sun.
I am sure he brought many a story from Cork to his family in Australia. He always spoke proudly of them, when back in Ireland.
