Louise Derek and family, I am so very sorry to hear of your heartbreaking loss. My deepest sympathies to you all.

Louise and Derek, I only knew your son, Lee as a small boy with a hurley in his hand — a hurler in the Broadford jersey.
Although my time with the club ended in 2011, I know that Lee represented the club splendidly in the years since and that he had many team mates as friends.
We don’t get a say in how our loved ones depart this earth and if we did, we’d never let them go.
