And was a life long friend to our aunty sheila, who only died recently too, in Spain. Such a funny and light hearted person always, everyone has the same to say about her. Roseann could not have been a better daughter to her mam. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

My sincere sympathies to the family. What a beautiful lady Lena was—and still is in spirit. I remember calling to her when I was around 9 or 10 years old, asking her to come over to Glenview to say the Rosary when I was in the Legion of Mary. We became good friends, and she once gave me the most beautiful red heart-shaped jewelry box filled with trinkets and brooches—a dream gift for a little girl. Lena was such a kind, warm presence. As children, you’d meet her on the way to the shop, and she’d always stop for a chat and tell you, “You’re beautiful.” May she rest in peace.🌸

So so sad to hear about Lena. I am 85 now and Lena used to bring me for a walk when I was a toddler in Glenview before we moved out to the ESB house at Drybridge. We have not seen her for a while but she was a lovely woman and our deepest condolences go to Roseann and the family. Rest in peace Lena.

She was so good to my mam and dad when they were not well and I always appreciated that. She will be sadly missed by everyone. She is at peace now and you did everything you could until the end.
