Lena Hanrahan

Lena was a pure Legend in her sense of craic, her friendship, and her nurturing of music, song and dance. We remember one particular night in the Harcourt Hotel at a Feakle Festival promotion. She was far away from home.....but the Star of the night! So good to have known her. Condolences to family and friends.

My deepest condolences to Peg, Bridie, Frank, and all of Lena's friends and neighbors. What an incredible woman we were blessed to know and love. I don't think I have ever known anyone with such a large circle of family and friends, who were like family. No matter where we traveled, or even when she came to the States, we were sure to meet someone she knew. She had a larger than life personality and an even bigger heart. I have so many fond memories over the years that I will cherish. What a wonderful life she lived.
