So very sorry to hear about the passing of Leo. He was a wonderful gentleman, always had a smile and will be fondly remembered by all in SJH. Our thoughts are with his family.

Great character followed in the footsteps of Drogheda AFC goalkeepers Paddy Henderson, Tony Swan and Cecil Baxter. All great Leo was particularly athletic and totally dedicated to his craft. May he rest in peace.

Was very sad to hear of Leo's passing.A lovely gentleman.Will be missed by all his neighbours and friends

Leo wore the no.1 shirt with pride & professionalism for my team Drogheda. My lourdes stadium memories include many of him. Prayers for his family at this sad time .

Ah this is very sad news, he was my all time favourite Drogheda FC keeper, brave as a Lion, tremendous in one on ones and had such agility, we had many many hours of pleasure watching him perform heroics in the 70s, my sincere condolences to his family, and friends, may Leo forever rest in peace.
