Leo Higgins

I was very sorry to hear of Leo's passing, I got to know Leo while working with sculptors in the late 90's. Leo was such a kind, patient and gentle person. Sincere sympathies to his wife Ann, family and many friends. Rest in peace dear Leo.

I am so sorry to hear of Leo's passing. My sincere condolences to his family. He was a wonderful, chalky man. Few have done so much to build up the collaborative of sculptors in Ireland. We were very close 30 or so years ago, around the Dublin Millennium, which became a rich time of collaboration thanks to Leo. A friend for life, even as you drift on different tides. For so many of us. Never forgotten.

So sad to hear of Leo's passing. He generously shared his knowledge of sculpture with all. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Heartbroken to hear of Leo's death .He was far too young.One if lifes gentlemen.and a lovely artist.He was part of our lives for years when he was in Dublin Art foundry.Arriving there at 17yrs old,he went on to found & run the finest Art Foundry in Dublin,CAST with his fellow sculptor Colm Brennan.I was only talking to Leo last October when I rang him about casting a memorial to our mutual friend the artist,Alwyn Gillespie,who had recently died.
