Leo Keogh

I was Leo 's neighbour for many years here in Dublin lovely man who always chatted to me a friendly person and family man . Very sad to hear of his passing my sincere condolences to the family .

Leo, what a sad news we heard today from Teresa your house representative. We couldn't believe you were gone. We know this is too late to say, our gratitude how you treated us so good as your Dublin tenant at 228 Grace park Heights. But, thank you for accepting us without a doubt. Yesterday we saw one of your frogs came out and said hello to us, now we know its your message to us, a sad message. Prayers we will offer to you, our Landlord and a quiet very short time we felt you were a friend to us with such a warmth welcome into your house at Drumcondra. We will leave soon, but we would keep you in our hearts and mind.
So, long Leo, your were in a peaceful place. Rest in peace.

Shocked and very saddened to hear of Leo’s death. As a new employee in Aer Lingus, Leo entertained me on our regular walks home, after work, to Marino. Years later our paths crossed again as neighbours in Grace Park. Always mannerly, upbeat and interesting to chat to, Leo will be greatly missed and remembered with great fondness. Sincerest condolences to all his family.

Very sad news which makes these days a bit darker for us. For Leo’s loving family and wide circle of friends his time among us has sadly passed far too quickly. His journey touched many lives, including many of whom he influenced without even realising. It was a pleasure to know him as a colleague and he was easily recognisable for the smile he always wore, the courtesy he extended, his quick wit, good nature, his pleasant demeanor and his consideration of others.

It is the measure of the man that Leo was, that his will remain a lasting and enduring impression upon all who knew him and sure to produce a smile each time we remember him. We will miss not being able to ‘Hear the dulcet tones of his melodious voice’ - a phrase Leo used often when starting a conversation.
