I remember well the great times in Rosslare in the 1970's with Paul Gueret on the 420's. We spent most of the time trying to right the boat after capsizing!

Leo was an absolute gentleman.

A true gent, and so many fond memories of him from growing up, both in Donnybrook eglinton road and blainroe for weekends away with Dave , growing up in the 80s.

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Leo, a gentleman greatly loved in Lansdowne FC and Milltown GC. Always a big smile on his face and full of fun. He will be sorely missed by all his family and many friends.
He wore the green jersey of Ireland with great pride and was a stellar player for Lansdowne and Leinster. What a man, he then won the hearts of all the membership of Milltown GC.
Unfortunately I will miss the funeral as I am presently in the USA but I will be watching in and sending my prayers and best strength to Rosaleen, the matriarch of a fabulous family.
Rest in Peace my friend and thank you for your positive support when I was playing. Much love. MQ x

Very , very sorry to hear of Leo's passing . It was a great honour to have known him and been a friend over many years . Early days at St. Marys then Castleknock , Lansdowne , Milltown and latterly lunches at Gleesons . A true gentleman , great rugby player and will be so sadly missed by all .
