Leo McMorrow

I was shocked to hear the very sad news of the passing of Leo. I extend my deepest sympathies to Thomasena and Stephen on your enormous loss. Leo was a very special person and colleague. He was a true gentleman and a thorough professional in his work. He had many fine attributes exemplified by his kindness and consideration to all. Also, he had the outstanding gift of having a wonderful sense of humour. Whenever I think of Leo I invariably always smile and I treasure the memories of the many great laughs we had together. Leo was always courteous and a wonderful person to work with when we were together in Bord Failte. As a good listener he had the ability to meet everyone with ease and inevidably feel so much better after time with him. It was a shock to hear of his passing. I extend my sympathy to Thomasena and Stephen and all the families on Leo's passing. It was with great shock that I received the news on Saturday from a mutual colleague from the same era. We were trainees together in Atkins, Chirnside & Co and I have particular fond memories especially of away trips to Waterford Sack and Bag, perhaps Leo likewise! When I met in Dublin about two years ago little did I know it was to be the last. May Leo rest in peace!
