Moments come and moments go. Knowing my good friend Leo was a lifetime of wonderful moments that will never be forgotten, and will never go away. His gift of music will always be part of all those who heard him play; and his gift as a human being to humanity will be sadly missed.
Part of me died at the news of his passing.
It's difficult for me to understand Leo's loss to his family; to Bridie, the children Lorraine, Alan, Robert and the grandchildren.
Leo was an example of living a joyous life to the fullest.. his kindness was more than human, it was angelic.
Lorraine, your words in honour of your Dad reached into the depth of my soul.. where the tears in ones eyes became the blood from my heart that lost its colour.
Condolences to all the family from Ted and all the McHugh family in Africa.

So sorry to hear on the sad passing of Leo. Deepest sympathy to his wife Bridie, sons Alan and Robert, daughter Lorraine and extended family. I met Leo at his brother in laws funeral Pete O'Rourke, Ballinaglera. Leo was a gentleman. May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Bridie,Alan,Kate,Laura and Katie and all the Simpson family, we are so sad to hear the news of Leo’s passing. Leo was one of life’s great characters, we loved his stories, fiddle playing and of course his special potion, the ‘pure drop’!
