I will forever treasure the time, adventures and love we shared with one another . You were the sweetest, kindest, most caring, and loving person I have ever met, and I’m so lucky that I got to have you in my life.

I am so sorry to hear of Lenny's passing. It was such a pleasure to get to know Lenny with Transplant Team Ireland on the Newcastle trip in 2019. He was such a beacon of positivity and good cheer and he reached out to all, going out of his way to make people feel welcome in such an easy-going but thoughtful manner. Rest well, Lenny. My deepest sympathies to his family, his friends, his colleagues and his IKA/TTI/TSI family.

Life can be kind and bring someone into your world who puts a smile on your face and reminds you about what is important. We both got to know Lenny through the Irish Kidney Association and Transplant Team Ireland. We will treasure our memories and take inspiration from his thoughtfulness, and selfless approach towards others. Rest in peace dear friend.

I had the honour of knowing and working with Lenny over many years. The commitment and loyalty to his fellow patients was steadfast. His devotion to the Association's Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving was legendary and acknowledged by not only his colleagues in Donor House but by each member of the unique IKA family who had the good fortune to know him. His acceptance and fortitude, in dealing with illness, was reflected in the support and advice he provided to every person in need. His fidelity and noteworthy work ethic ensured that each undertaking was completed to the highest of standards. The sense of humour and fun he brought to life was embraced by all who had the good fortune of crossing paths with him. May I convey my sincere sympathy to Lenny's family and close friends who loved him.

I was saddened to hear about Lenny’s passing. He was truly one of a kind - you were always guaranteed a good laugh when he was around. Thinking of his family and friends at the this sad time.

So sorry to hear this news we were part of transplant team Ireland and we got to know Lenny. We had a good chat on Saturday in Punchestown and Lenny was in great form. It was a pleasure to have met and known him. We are away so we will miss Lenny funeral but we will watch online. RIP

I am so sorry to hear of the very sudden and unexpected death of Lenny. The reaction of staff to the sad news shows how much he was loved and respected. It is very poignant that we heard the news at the launch of our annual Organ Donor Awareness week. Lenny had already volunteered to come in, on extra time this week to help with posting out more donor cards. He was so friendly, obliging and pleasant. He had a keen interest in what is going on the world and we will miss his interesting and funny opinions on things.
He will not be forgotten.
