Receive my sincere condolence. I have very good memories of all of you specially of your Parents.

In my last visit to Skerries in 2014, I gave them a picture of a huge rock located in the bay of Biscay, as a present. On the next day, Leonard had it already hung on a preference place.

I have watched the funeral celebration, it has been lovely. The grandsons' participation, the music and the beautiful words of his sons. An emotive farewell.

Thank you for leaving us with so much to celebrate. A wonderful example of creativity, insightfulness, forebearance, encouragement, humour, positivity, humility and love of family. A wonderful sportsman and colleague to so many. How many people that avail of health insurance in Ireland know of the role that you had in shaping the values and culture of the fledging Vhi?Ireland owes you. You bore 'triumph and diaster just the same' but thank God you were never 'perfect'. A huge thank you to Breda and family for sharing you with us. Say hello to Francis for me.

Lovely memories of wonderful times in his company at the Captains and Springboards. A true Gentleman.

Leonard was a great help to my mother with VHI issues after my Dad (Des)died.He also took the photos at their wedding and we still have those great pictures.I met him on the South Strand many years ago when he was organising swimming races.I should have got a lesson from him when I was younger..A man of many talents who you will all miss.My condolences to all the family at this sad time.May he rest in peace.

I have many fond memories of my associaton with Leonard.He was an invaluable member of the board of Prosper Fingal of which I was Chairman .His advice and wisdom delivered in his usual measured and thoughtful manner informed and shaped the development of Prosper. But I also got to know the person he was and it was my great privilege to do so.
