We received heartbreaking news on Sunday of Leontia's passing. What a lovely gentle, thoughtful and intelligent woman she was. We knew her for only four or five years but she was always delightful company. And totally devoted to her three children. She loved life, and travel and painting and reading. There is an expression in Irish: Níl sí imithe uainn, ach tá sí imithe romhainn. She has not gone from us, she has gone before us. May her sweet gentle soul rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon her.
Sincere condolences to you Mary on the death of your much loved sister. May you and all Leontia’s family and friends find comfort from your memories. May she rest in peace 🙏🏻

Dear Joan, Norman, Leontia, Laura and Andy. Our sincerest condolences on the passing of Leontia. We are thinking of you at this very sad and difficult time. May she rest in peace.
My deepest sympathies to Lee’s family on their loss. Lee was one of the first women I met when I joined Leopardstown Tennis club. We developed a close bond immediately when we realised we had both suffered similar life experiences of sudden loss. She was a beautiful lady, a formidable tennis partner but mostly a woman who loved family and life above all else. We will miss her hugely. May she be at peace now with her beloved husband.
