Sincere sympathy to Heather and the extended family on the passing of your uncle, Leslie.
So sorry to read of the passing of 'Skipper' our former Scoutmaster of 8th Dublin (Clontarf) troop.
He also founded the Orthopaedic Troop in the hospital in Clontarf in the 1960's.
He was for many years my late father, Robert McCullagh's assistant in the General Office of St. Patrick's Hospital, James' Street.
In more recent years I met him again on several occasions at meetings in Molesworth Street.
May Les rest in peace.

Dear Heather,
On behalf of the Board, Management Team and all the staff at Clontarf Hospital we offer our sincere condolences on hearing of the death of our esteemed ex Board Director and long time Friend of the hospital Les Sibbald.
Les's association with the hospital goes back almost seventy years. He played a significant role in helping to direct and improve the hospital's services, along with the other Board members, throughout these years. Even after retiring from the Board Les remained in contact and always advocated on behalf of the hospital. We are sad to hear of his passing but realise we were lucky to have such a true friend of the hospital.
