Liam has picked up his final fare and is heaven bound. On behalf of my Mum, Josephine and I, my deepest sympathies to Maeve, Stephen, Niamh and Lynn and extended family. Mum has fond memories of Liam delivering the coal on a Friday to ensure we were all kept warm. Liam gave me my first big break in entertainment when inviting me to be Match Announcer at Cobh Ramblers and for over 20 years we have been friends in the Taxi Business. Rest well Liam and thank you for your friendship. Till we meet again..

A true gentleman who cared for other people, a gentle kind man who cared for his family. A soccer enthusiast who gave a lot to Cobh in his Springfield days as a trainer.
He kept the home fires burning and was an excellent Taxi official who transported the people of Cobh around the Great Island. He will be sadly missed as a Cobh host to locals and tourists visiting Cobh. I am sorry for his passing but will remember him as he was one of Cobh's silent heros.
