My sincere condolences to Liam's family. I knew Liam since we did our bridge lessons together. He was such a lovely man. He looked after our section with with efficiency, diplomacy and good humour. I always enjoyed his company. He is hugely missed and I remember him with great fondness.

I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to Liam’s family at this sad time. I got to know Liam in 2012 taking bridge lessons on a Tuesday evening in the Centre in Templeogue. Liam was a very popular member of that class group. Many of us continue to play bridge at the Centre as did Liam until ill health prevented him from doing so. Liam’s absence was noted by many. Liam brightened up the room on arrival . May he rest in peace.

I am very sorry to hear this news. Liam was a great neighbour and I always enjoyed meeting him around Rathfarnham. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

I offer my sincerest condolences to my cousins Paula, Catriona and David on the loss of their beloved father and to Jack, Hannah, Aidan, and Conor on the loss of their much loved Grandfather. I feel that I know the Barratt and Ryan families, so well, as I have been putting together our family tree since lockdown. I am in contact with Kathleen 'Kay' Dix-Barratt in the USA and she very kindly told me of Liam's passing. Liam has gone to join the great Delaney Clan and he now rests peacefully in the arms of His Saviour. RIP.
