From the first time i met him in the numerous places in Philippines, Singapore, Shanghai and Navan i always had great craic with him over Meath v Dublin. May he rest in peace.

To Susan, Alan, David and your beloved Mam Marie, sincere sympathies to you on the passing of Liam, a husband and father in a million. Sincere sympathies too to Liam’s grandchildren, in laws, his sister and brother, nieces and nephews and the extended Brady and Harte families. He made time for you all. Also thinking of the many friends and colleagues from all the organisations he gave his talents to, all the young people he mentored, those he gave a helping hand to when life was difficult, his loyal neighbours. Liam made time for all of you too. He was indeed a remarkable man.
l feel honoured to have known Liam. We have been friends and colleagues since Vincent de Paul started in Bohermeen around 2012. Liam often helped us out in Navan SVP and l found him to be very compassionate, kind, considerate, discreet, cheerful and of course we had to have football chats and reminders of Meath’s various victories over Kerry!
Liam’s legacy will live on in his devoted family, friends and in all the lives he touched. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.

Liam’s humanity and care for the youth left a great mark on me many years ago during tough times in Taipei. My eyes well up seeing this news of his passing as it brings back many emotions from the look on his face as he met us on that lonely hospital corridor in Taipei, to a year later on Phi Phi Island when he kept us up to close every bar. We shared the lowest of lows and the highest of highs together. Rest In Peace Liam. I’ll have a drink in your memory this evening.
