I was privileged to have known and worked with him for more than 40yars on various community and gaa projects and i think very few knew the full extent of his contribution to the community of river valley. He went about his work in a quite unassuming way just getting the job done. We will miss his cheerful positive personality. May his gentel soul rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear the news of Liam's passing. He was an absolute gentleman when we met up with him at family occasions in both Dublin and Cavan. Liam was an affable man who I found always in good humour. Really enjoyed & will miss the chats about hurling and camogie with particular emphasis on the Kilkenny slant.

Dear Eilis, I was sad to hear of the passing of your father. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Deepest condolences Rose and family, i am out of the country so was unable to attend Liams funeral. Liam was an absolute gentleman who never found a problem just a solution "you know" brilliant community guy, i remember his Saturday trad nights in the community centre bar. Also our involvement together in the community employment scheme, Liam was the secretary for many year’s, also his involvement with the community club. I have so many happy memories of Liam. May he rest in heavenly peace.
