The passing of Liam and his comrades came as a great shock to us all, my deepest sympathy to his and their families. As a fellow Irish born U.S. Marine, I took great pride in serving beside such a respected and accomplished individual. Throughout the years I knew Liam, he provided me great comfort as we discussed our home of birth while our paths crossed in distant lands. As one who left for foreign shores and chose the path less traveled, his family and friends can take great satisfaction in the fact he represented them and his homelands to the highest of esteem.

To Destiny and you baby girl....We treated Liam as a son from a small child growing up in Clane to the fine man he turned into.. He played football on our lawn with our lads and neighbours for years.. Liam was a loveable modest handsome child.. Our hearts are heavy at the news because I can still see him vividly in our kitchen and on the football pitch and strolling home from school( smiling at all times) with his pals..

We are deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of Liam. We remember him as an active little boy playing with all the children in our estate. He was full of energy and courage.
