Liam Kennedy

'A gentleman and a scholar' a term sometimes loosely used but a most fitting description for Liam. My memory of Liam is that the student was always his priority. So many were gently guided and supported over many years. Also a wonderful colleague with a word and a smile for everyone. My condolences to Liams family on your sad loss.

Mr Kennedy was an absolute gentleman.
He taught me in the late 80’s to early 90’s in the CBS Enniscorthy.
He had such a kind nature and dealt with unruliness without ever raising his voice, he’d just say “guys c’mon” and had this look on his face that suggested what you were partaking in was foolish and had you immediately reflecting that he was right!
“Sorry Sir” would follow and it was forgotten.
I’m sure I speak for many others when I say he’ll be remembered fondly.
