I will miss so much about my Uncle Liam, always happy and laughing, so much to joke about and make people laugh. Always the go to person at family parties and gatherings, I remember growing up with the overnight stays before and after ferry crossings, they were always great fun and a part of the holiday I and Sean and Michelle looked forward to. My deepest sympathy goes to your wonderful family who you leave behind, I know were exceptionally proud of them, but they will have a big hole in their lives now and one that is close to all their hearts. My dear brother. Words cannot express my sadness. I cannot help but think of times all through our lives where you have been there influencing me and so many others. Always chatty, the most beautiful voice and singing such lovely songs. Writing poems and sending me poetry (that I still have and read). Always so full of life with a infectious smile and laugh. It was a privilege to be there and share the remembrance with you in the church where Elizabeth Killeen married Jerry Clancy in 1926. Thank you for your welcome and hospitality. I still remember the warmth of Liam’s welcome when we first met in Dennehy’s Cross. He was such a kind ,caring gentleman - so loving of his family - a good, good person to know.
Hold on tight to all those rich memories of love ,laughter and song you all shared with him. They will remain in your hearts always and sustain you when days seem really tough.

Our sympathies to Kitty and the Killeen family . May Liam rest in peace . He was many things to many people but I remember in particular his great smile and his kindness to everyone he knew . He especially loved all of his grandchildren and was always on hand for a lift when they were stuck. The Cork ones may have benefited a little more for lifts though as the US and Clare and Limerick were a little far away for school runs from Wilton Gardens . It was a home from Home for all the family . Rest in peace .

Dear Kitty and Family. So sorry to hear your Liam has gone to his Heavenly reward after a full life so well lived. I got to know both of you so well during covid when walking in his salubrious area as he used to call it. He loved that word !!!! He had a great sense of humour and also was gifted with words. He sent me a lovely letter years ago when I was under the weather. As we were all from Limerick he knew his sports for sure. No doubt he has a place in the choirs of Angels in the most salubrious place of all now in Heaven.
