Rest in peace Mr. McCauley. I had the pleasure of seeing you last summer while visiting Donegal Town and listening to your stories. My grandfather was the best man in your fathers wedding. I will always remember you sitting on the stone wall on Castle Street. My condolences to your family.

I would like to express my deep sadness and condolences on the loss of Liam to Bridie his children grandchildren and family. I am so proud to belong to this big clan. It is with much regret I was unable to be there in Donegal with you all.
I watched the Mass on line as I guess family and friends from all over the world did. Listening to his eulogy and tributes so beautifully presented by loved ones.
I have many memories of Liam and his storytelling always welcoming us cousins Gwen and John on visits to Donegal.
A precious time in my life was when Liam Bridie and children visited London Tess and Bill and stayed with Gwen and us we made so many wonderful memories never to be forgotten but treasured.
I would like to include my son John wife Lucy and his sons and offer their condolences.
His hand made rosary beads hang with pride in my home a sign of all the lives he touched. Donegal will not be the same without him he leaves behind so much love and legacy in his children and grandchildren brothers sister and family and friends and neighbour. RIP Liam Much love Elaine
