It is with great sadness we learned of the passing of Liam. Codolences to all the McEvoy family in both Belfast and Tullamore. Liam and his family were great friends when we lived in Athlone and were involved with Southern Gaels Hurling Club. He was a lovely person and always so helpful. May he Rest in Peace. Our deepest sympathies to all the family. Liam for us was a larger than life character who kindly showed us around Belfast and introduced us to Colm when we visited Dublin. He never missed a wee phone call in advance of each Ireland v Scotland rugby game and that contact will be sadly missed by us both.
