Such a sweetheart of a man. I don't know any of you. I met this lovely man back i think the 23rd July 24 in UHK in waiting area 2 for general appointments. I arrived in with my mum and we sat down . As we were waiting for a long time, i noticed this lovely elderly man sitting across from us. When he caught me looking at him, he said to me " i've been admiring you for the last half an hour". I thought he was talking to my mum, but it was me. He came across and introduced himself and sat next to us . He asked me if I was i married and a whole lot more of questions, my mother and all the people waiting in the waiting room were in stitches laughing at us. He was so funny to chat with. He told us his beloved wife passed away some time ago and he used to live in Fenit and was living in the kerries. He also told me he was 90 bless him. He spoke very lovingly about his family, i think he said he had a daughter living in Michelstown. He also told me he was still driving . He was such a rogue that day, it was the only time i ever met and spoke to Liam. Ye were so lucky to have such a lovely Father.. Every time we go to the UHK for hospital appointments i think of him. We were only in the hospital on the 12th Feb and me and my mum were laughing about him and how sweet he was, That evening i saw his name and photo up on RIP, I was so sad. Our Sincerest Sympathies to you all . Rest in peace Liam you'll have them all laughing up above. God bless you xx.

Liam was a very good friend of mine over all of the years, since I was employed by Co. Kerry VEC. Liam was meticulous in his work in the VEC Office and he was most supportive of all projects in the schools. Likewise for the VEC Games Committee Activities as well Kerry VEC teams competing in All-Ireland Finals over the years. Liam was a gentleman, he loved the fun and banter before and after football matches.
