On behalf of Virginia Golf Club I offer deepest sympathies to the Murphy family on the death of your beloved Liam. Our thoughts are with Ann-Marie, Gail, Jen, Karen and their mother Maureen, brothers and sisters, Catherine, Eamon, Joe, Seamus, Ciaran, Fergal, Sheila, Padraig, Cathal, Marie and his wide circle of friends at this sad and difficult time.
Liam’s sudden and untimely passing has shocked all members of Virginia Golf Club. He gave distinguished service to our club through his golf, as a diligent committee member and above all as our 2023 Captain. His affable, sincere and thoughtful approach endeared him to all members and his quiet easy style ensured consensus.

May his gentle soul find everlasting peace.

We have all lost a friend.

We're deeply shocked and saddened by Liam's sudden passing. He was a hugely popular, well-respected, and loved member of the team, a genuine gentleman who gave his time and patience generously to everyone around him. His death leaves a huge void that can never be filled. He is, and will be, truly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Liam's family, friends, and especially Ciaran. We have no words that will lessen your loss or grief, just know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
