I was very saddened to hear of Liam's passing. I was picking my dad Gerry Nunn up from hospital upon discharge. When I arrived dad was in tears as he had just received the news regarding his brother in law Liam. We had the privilege of visiting Liam and his lovely family in December 2022 upon our visit to Cork. Sadly my father and I are unable to attend Liam's funeral but we will be there in spirit 🙏🙏 and will follow the service. As a child Liam was the go to man in my family. As a young man on my occasional visits to Melbourne Estate I was welcomed at the door by Liam's smiling face and the smell of Rita's home cooking and I enjoyed both the company and the food in equal measure.Even then I realised I was in the home of a couple who got on so very well
together and that childhood memory came flooding back when I read of Liam's death. You are very much in my prayers Rita for I know your loss is great but I hope you take some solace that Liam's life was a life well lived and in the process he did so much good and some known only to the Lord.
