Fondest memories of Liam growing up- he never left our house without giving me a handshake where he had a sneaky fiver rolled between his middle and ring finger for me !!! An amazing man and my dad's best friend. My warmest thoughts to his family.

Sincere condolences Kay, Sinead, John and all the family. Liam was such a larger than life character. I've got lots of memories from our time living with him and Kay while our house was being built back in 1971. They were so good opening up their house to us. And again when the family moved back to London they looked after my sister Pauline while she continued her studies to complete her Leaving Certificate. Such a lovely man, dearly missed. May he Rest in Peace.

Liam was a magnificent generous sociable gentleman who opened his home up to all Louis’s friends. Every week my lads loved their after school visit when Liam handed over his credit card for them to buy a treat or two in Londis. Liam has a special place in our hearts, having been such an incredible grand dad to Sophie and doting on her so much growing up. A gentleman, with lots of warmth time and wisdom for everyone.
