Very sorry to hear of Liam's passing. We were good friends over the years in Social Welfare. Indeed we travelled together in the 80s to various offices country-wide. He was clever and very good company. A true gentleman.

I was so sad to learn of Liam's passing. He was a great colleague all those years ago in Social Welfare, Gandon House. I remember particularly those long night shifts with games of don and chinese takeaways to lift the spirits. Liam was a thorough gentleman in and ouf of work and I know his passing will be greatly missed by all his former workmates. To Claire and family, my deepest sympathies. I am so very sorry to hear of Liam's passing.

I met him first when I started work in D'Olier House in '77. Our paths crossed on many occasions through work and through football in the old civil service leagues.

He was always up for a laugh and a joke. I will always have fond memories of him.
