Your father and you are in our family's prayers at this sad time. I was honored to play for your Dad at Trinity, albeit intermittently - he being a great judge of a footballer's true talents! in his time there he created a standard for all future teams to be measured against. He will be missed.
Really sad to see Liam gone, he was a great man. He gave me my first taste of international football back in 1971 against Austria in Linz. Will be well remembered by all, even over here in Newcastle RIP Liam.

So sorry to hear of Liam's passing the other day.
I soldiered with him in Tbilisi at the World Youth Cup finals back in 1985/86 - the first time Ireland ever qualified for a major tournament and the 'Rasher' at the helm.
Those football memories are as vivid today and they were back then.
A great footballer and a gentleman on and off the field of play.
