Libb was a wonderful, kind, joyful woman and will be missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.

Her kindness, thoughtfulness, interest and help with our ponies and horses over the last 30 years were so very much appreciated. Her book, a mine of information on the Connemara lines and a historical bible on the breed to be treasured. Her first hand knowledge and experience will be missed, as will her presence in the community. Our sincere sympathies to the family.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Libb and the late Jeanot in recent years when I brought Libb’s late brother Terry to visit at Kilbrittain. They were both very interesting people, and great company. My sincere sympathy to all of the family, remembering particularly Vicky and John whom I have met personally.

Condolence to the family of Libb Petch. It was great to finally meet up with Libb's family. We had some fab visits to see the mares and foals in late august. And also the famous Connemara stallions. In my trip, out foregin , first Qustion asked of me when i came from Ireland, did i know LIBB PETCH, Her name was as good as an Irish passport. Out of respect for my late father, I felt i had to say the last farwell, for Dermot O'Donovan. Willowdale, Carhue.

Sympathies to Nicky, Tim and Johnny on the death of your fabulous Mum. She had the unenviable task of giving me riding lessons when I was little. That was my favourite part of the week, although mostly for the great chats with her on the way back from the beach.
