Deeply saddened to hear of Conal’s passing. I have many fond memories of our interactions, firstly I trained Conal as a recruit when he joined the Air Corps and then during his aircraft apprenticeship. Sadly missed. RIP

I knew Sheeran from cadets; he helped me through a lot of my three months in the Curragh and I'll always be thankful for that. I hope you're in a better place now.

I am absolutely honoured to have had the privilege of calling you my friend. I'm heartbroken having to write this. Over the past twenty odd years we shared dressing rooms and football pitches for multiple sports and we won it all. We went on many a night out and had endless laughs and all these great memories will live on forever. You were one of a kind and a true gentleman.
