My sincere condolences to Eilish's family and friends on the Passing Over of this great lady. She was always a welcome visitor to Homepharm pharmacy with her beatific smile and many nice stories and words of wisdom. She hated to be any trouble to anyone. Agh lilly, I never got back to Ireland and so missed out on telling you all about your father Peter O'Connor. He WAS tortured by the British in 1920, hence his crippled hands. He was Capt. of 'D' Coy BW 1 and was uncle Joe's mentor. He was in charge of the Belfast Boycott after the split in 1922 and had his office in the four Courts. He was not in the Four Courts during the attack but was at Fowler Hall. He was imprisoned with Joe etc. in Mountjoy and would visit Joe in his cell by crossing through the attic of the prison Wings. may you rest in peace.
Saddened to hear of Lily's passing. May she rest in peace.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Eilish. I got to know her through Homepharm pharmacy where she was a regular customer. Always a pleasure to deal with. So kind and polite,a lovely lady. Enjoyed our little chats on the phone in more recent times. May she rest in peace.
We are very sad to hear of Eilish's passing. She was a real connection back to our late mother Cecily Killoran, nee Altman (RIP 1997) and late Auntie Colette. Deepest condolences to her extended family. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Eilish. Eilish was a lovely, selfless person, a real lady and a privilege to have known her as my late mother's good friend where they started their working lives together. May she rest in peace.
Eilish was a lifelong friend of my mum Colette O'Connor (RIP 2011) and to our family. She was an inspiration of compassion and kindness. A beautiful soul. Rest easy now.
