We were away over the last number of weeks and did not hear the sad news of Lily's passing. She was such a lovely person. May she rest in peace.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Lily. She was a lovely lady, with a very kind heart. It was with deep regret we could not attend her funeral mass. We will think of her often. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

My deepest condolences to Elizabeth's family and friends. I knew her as Ms Mannion my principal. She was a fantastic woman and a great principal.

Her dedication to the school was admirable and continued long after her retirement. With a deep sense of sadness and loss we learned of Lily's passing.
A talented, progressive and immensively dedicated teacher and administrator, her selection as first lay principal of our school was an inspired choice. Her work ethic and warm friendly disposition equipped her well to build on the foundation laid by the Mercy sisters. Before her retirement she played a vital role in the drive for modern, fit for purpose facilities for primary education in our community, which will be enjoyed by generations to come. She maintained her interest in the school post retirement and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by everyone involved with the school.
