Linda, Thank you for all you did in getting the Government to agree to abolish the 80 Euro a day in-patient hospital charge. I have just paid 800 Euros to Beaumont Hospital which is going to mean I will have a very tight Christmas, BUT I will still raise a glass in Thanks to you for fighting for, and winning re hospital charges/fees. You have improved the future life of every person in Ireland who has felt the pressure of paying hospital fees.
May you now rest in well deserved Peace. My condolences to your family who are no doubt immensely, and rightly so, proud of you!

I didn't know Linda personally but followed her on instagram. She was nothing short of an inspiration and her family and friends must be so proud of her. The way she managed her illness and managed to stay upbeat despite everything. Rest in peace Linda.

I have fond memories of Linda from both primary and secondary school. Then, later meeting her while she was studying at Trinity. She was so excited and proud to have made such an achievement.

She certainly was an inspiration and will be remembered by many.

I had the privilege of knowing Linda when she was on a C.E. scheme in the Dublin 12 Congress Centre, where she first started her journey into adult education and progressed to gain a place in Trinity College. To Carl, Keaton, Charley, Jayden, Lola, Mason and Linda’s mother and siblings, as a colleague of Linda’s it was more than a privilege to have known her. The only part of Linda that was stronger than her fight, this last 18 months, was the constant Love she had for her family. I so admired her courage and humour in facing her illness, all while engaging with media and her brilliant Podcast to highlight important issues when it comes to cancer screening, diagnosis’s and treatments. And all that while managing home and work life. We have all learnt so much from her and had so many laughs too! We will miss her, almost as much as her beautiful family certainly will.
