I was very sad to hear the news of Linda's passing. I knew Linda through her time working for me at IPA house in Dublin. She was always extremely pleasant and hard working during the time she worked in Iona Drive. I was sorry to see her leave the staff when she decided to return to Australia and she was a big loss to us at the time.

Dearest Eugene,

There aren’t words available for Marie and I to share fairly how fortunate we were to have you both in our lives and what impact Linda made on us and shaped who we are today.

Linda was always up for anything that seemed like it would be fun or might bring joy and fun to someone around her.

All through my life she has been a gentle but insightful hand in how to think about life and to love all that it brings. Who else was going to play computer games with me as a kid, play football whenever I asked, take us to matches and games or inspire us to travel and explore our own backyard and the world around us.

The two of you accepted Marie into the family from the moment you met her - with Linda being that beaming, warm and joyful person that always looked out for her and loved her as much as she did everyone else.

Linda’s willingness to laugh, her ability to make the fun - but equally her resilience and strength - are a constant reminder to Marie and I of how to go about things.

Linda will forever be a person that we are fortunate you gifted the Fitzpatrick family of knowing and claiming as one of our own.

We are heartbroken that you have lost the love of your life-Linda loved your deeply and her precious dogs Shadow and Jazz.
She lived and loved life to the full always up for a laugh she gave her love freely and got it back in spades.
She was fun and great company and we shared so many happy years together here in Perth. We celebrated milestones and happy and sad times we enjoyed NYE and Paddy Days and no broom was safe when Linda was in party mode her rendition of Johnny Jump Up was legendary and an assault on the ears.
Niamh and Ian were so blessed to have you both in their lives.
Linda fought her health battles bravely and with quiet dignity. We loved her dearly and will miss her forever.
